12″ Record, 2007

The result of a failed attempt by a local dubplate cutter to manufacture me a logarithmic sinewave sweep from 20 to 22050 hz on a vinyl record. A clean, steady rise in frequency until the malfunction and the subsequent complete failure of the cutting machine becomes hearable, leaving the listener with nothing but the silence of empty vinyl grooves after about seven minutes of steady rise in frequency.
